Taraba State Sets Stage for
Groundbreaking Investment SummiT

The Taraba State Government, under the leadership of Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas, has announced plans for a milestone event aimed at catalyzing economic development and attracting investments to the state. The Governor has approved the constitution of a 13-member Committee to organize the highly anticipated Taraba State Investment Summit.

Key Highlights of the Summit Preparations

• Main Organizing Committee: The committee, chaired by Rt Hon Ndudi Elumelu, is set to work closely with APCO as lead consultants to engage with the European Union, foreign investors, and the diplomatic community. Mrs. Jackline Yawa will serve as the Vice Chairman.
• Prominent Members: Committee members include distinguished individuals such as Senator Haruna Manu, Dr. Unuoha Nnaji, Chief Chris Okoye, and Prince Tita Ngalam, among others. Dr. Joel Ebute has been appointed as the Secretary, with Barr Nierus Johnson as Assistant Secretary.

Additionally, the Governor has inaugurated a Local Organizing Committee (LOC) to handle logistics and coordinate efforts for the summit. This committee, chaired by Hon Jethro Zikengyu Yakubu, includes esteemed commissioners and professionals from various sectors, ensuring a comprehensive approach to summit preparations.

Event Inauguration Details:

The Committees will be officially inaugurated on Friday, April 11, 2025, at the Exco Chamber, TY Danjuma House, Jalingo, at **3:00 PM.
