FRILIA Workshop for Farmers

The Framework for Responsible Investment in Land-Intensive Agriculture (FRILIA) workshop is a key component of the SABER program in Taraba State. A 2 days’ WORKSHOP was held on 15 th to 16 th October 2024 attended by 200 Farmers and other stakeholders in the Agriculture sub- sector

Improve Farming Practices

Encourage the use of sustainable, climate-smart techniques for better productivity.

Facilitate Access to Markets

Create connections between farmers and buyers to ensure fair pricing and prompt payments.

Institutional Backbone

FRILIA Steering Committee

Inaugurated to provide strategic oversight.

Technical Committee

Established to support technical execution.

Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM)

Functional with a dedicated officer, email, and hotline for community feedback.

Investment Approval Process (IAP)

Formalized, with regulations guiding ethical land acquisitions.
